IdentificationSuper specials are very easy to identify. They look much like Lucids, but have a different kind of wing, or even no wings at all. They're very rare, and special wolfonflies that are a gift from me to you for advertising WL.

Stages and common behaviourWell, they don't exactly have stages.. The gen 1s don't at any rate. The pups have the same stages as Lucids, even with the same pup line art, complete with the dragonfly wings. The wings change or disappear slowly, just like the middle pair of legs that disappears on the Recurring. Strangely, the pups also usually have no markings whatsoever, only showing their base colour until they reach adulthood. Their personalities are much like Lucids, although they tend to be a tiny bit more loyal, sticking with their owner instead of other wolfonflies. The five types of super specials are as follows: (All of them can fly besides the nowing) BirdwingButterflywingChibiwingDragonwingNowingThese are examples of gen1 Super specials, that have one, solid colour. When bred though, the offspring usually get beautiful and surprising patterns. These, are examples of gen2 offspring. You can see how they have a mixture of the two colours of their parents. The last one also has a colour halfway between the colour of her parents on her. This is common among super specials, but doesn't always occur.

How to Breed
Breeding, among super specials is, well, special, and can be a tiny bit complicated.
Gen1s can breed across accounts. So, if you have a gen1, and your friend has a gen one, you can breed them. All other gens can not breed across accounts. Gen1s also get one breeding free, so to speak. As long as it is one of the parent super special's first time breeding, the breeding is free. Super specials also have two pups per litter, provided they're breeding across accounts.
After the first time, super specials breed exactly like Lucids and Recurrings. You simply get a breeding potion and a slot on the Lucid and Recurring breeding thread. If they're gen ones and breeding across accounts, they have two pups. Anything else, and they'll have one pup. If it's a gen1's first time, you can post on the Lucid and Recurring thread even if the slots are full and they will still be bred.
As well, they can breed with Lucids and Recurrings, but the dragonfly wing type is dominant, and you will get dragonfly winged pups. In fact, you'll get Lucids even if you breed them with a Recurring, because the six legs are also dominant.
Among super specials, no wing type is dominant, so you can get litters with two pups with different wings, or both the same as one of their parent's. What wing type they get is random, but it will of course be a type that at least one of their parents displays.

Misc InformationYou get a gen1 Super Special for advertising. One per person. wolfonflies.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=22Super Specials are the hardest wolfonfly type to collect. Super Specials are the only type of wolfonfly known to have two offspring per breeding. They are also the only known wolfonfly type to be able to breed across accounts naturally. They tend to be a bit smaller than Lucids and Recurrings.

Tips on collecting Super Specials
Since Super Specials are only given out one per person at the maximum, it is next to impossible to collect the gen1s. You can get your first by advertising, but after that, the only way you could get another one would be to convince someone else to trade their's to you. Not an easy task...
Gen2 and up super specials are relatively easy to collect, however, you can never have a complete collection, since all the offspring would be unique...
It's suggested that you focus on collecting another species of wolfonfly, as it is so difficult to collect super specials.
