Adacari sighed, and blinked awake from where she had been sleeping. She yawned and stretched, huge teeth flashing before she got to her feet and pushed open the hidden door. Two. Week two, and only two challengers. Not only that, but she had lost more than she had gained this week. That beautiful Kitsune... She wanted to be sinking her teeth in it right now, but alas, it was not to be.
Still yawning, she made her way to the prize cage. The prizes shrank back at the sight of her teeth, and she paused a moment to let their fear wash over her, before suddenly lashing out with the old hunter strike. Quick as a snake, she flicked her tail between the bars and wrapped it around a Recurring who's colours almost matched her own.
Just as quickly, before the venom had had much chance to work, she whipped it out, somehow getting the Recurring through too, and slammed it down on the stone floor. She swallowed her acid, and quite gently lifted it in her mouth, head held high as it struggled in a vain attempt to get free.
Adacari was like a cat, in one sense of the word. She liked to play with her food before eating it if she got a chance to. Her tail flicked a switch set into the wall as she entered the great and empty Amphitheater. Bars slammed down from both entries, and across the top, trapping her and her prey inside.
She put her mouth close to the ground and dropped the Wolfonfly, which stumbled to its legs and tried to run away. She didn't give it a chance though. As cats do, she pounced on it, grabbed it in her mouth, and tossed it into the air (Not without taking one quick bite though first) It crashed into the ground, and again she pounced, bit and threw it into the air.
The fear and pain washed over her, making her senses more sharp, and she could feel power coming into her limbs that she hadn't realized she had lost. She continued this... game with her prey until finally both the fear and the pain stopped, very abruptly.
She stood looking down at her dead prey, and snorted in annoyance. Weak. Most of them lasted longer than this. She settled in to eat what was left. After this, she would check her traps, and then return here. She did hope more people who owned Wolfonflies would battle her. The human owned ones seemed less weak than the ones she found in the world of dreams, and would be more fun to play with when the time came.
